Dave has more than 10 years of experience as a financial planning professional. He is proud to work with a brilliant team at Sun Life. He has always been passionate about all aspects of the financial world. He learned the importance of having a solid financial plan from an early age. After starting a family, Dave realized the financial burden that would occur in case of illness or sudden death. This is something that drives his commitment to helping provide Clients with the knowledge they need for financial independence and security they deserve.

Jonathan is passionate about investment planning and protection, and focuses on financial strategies for families and young professionals. Jonathan was an advisor with Sun Life for two years before joining our team in early 2020. Having a parent in the education field, Jonathan understands the importance of promoting financial literacy. His primary goal is educating Clients and ensuring they understand all aspects of their plan. Jonathan has both his insurance agent’s licence and mutual fund registration.

Karissa Binns started with our team in 2012 and is often the first point of contact for Clients. She has both her insurance agent’s license and mutual fund registration to better support Clients. She also obtained her Certified Financial Planner designation in 2017. She prides herself in establishing strong relationships and providing efficient service to Clients.

Kim Stade joined Giles Financial Solutions in 2020 and is an invaluable member of our team. She started working with Howard Fergusson in 1987 as an assistant with Mutual Life, which became Clarica. Since that time, she obtained her insurance agent’s license and mutual fund registration. She also has her Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter and Certified Health Insurance Specialist designations.

Kate Burke is the newest member of our team and joined us in late 2022. She’s a hard-working and versatile Administrative Assistant. She understands that every Client and situation is unique and always strives to provide quality and timely service that suit their needs. Kate believes in putting Clients first and providing quality and timely service.
