I hold my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation as well as a Bachelors of Commerce degree with a major in Finance.

My biggest goal is to get to know and develop long-term relationships with every client that I meet. I will always work hard to find the most beneficial financial solutions for you, your family or your business. We have a knowledgeable and hardworking team here at FCM Financial. We strive to solve problems while creating and protecting wealth for clients. I can help you with Life, Critical Illness and Disability insurance as well as starting accounts such as RRSP's, RESP's or TFSA's. I give advice to help you see long-term returns on your investments.

Nathan is passionate about building real relationships and making a meaningful difference in the lives of Clients. He takes the time to learn about each Client’s individual goals and values, and this allows him to offer guidance that helps bring clarity, direction and greater peace of mind for the future.

When he’s not in the office, Nathan enjoys staying active through sports. His summers are often spent golfing and fishing, while winter is filled with hockey. He is an an active member of the Smithers Basketball community as well as a founding member of the Bulkley Valley Basketball society.

Jay joined the FCM Financial Services team in 2006 (Morris Truscott Financial at that time) as an administrative assistant. Within a few years she became licensed and moved to the licensed administrative assistant role, focusing on wealth administration.

Now in the service associate role, Jay continues to manage financial transactions and behind-the-scenes operations. Outside of the office, Jay enjoys hiking, camping, boardgames, and singing with her acapella octet.

Georgia is an administrative assistant with Sun Life in Smithers, BC. She began her career with the company as a receptionist and, through her dedication, strong work ethic, and commitment to Client service, has expanded her role into her current position. She enjoys building meaningful relationships with Clients and supporting the team in delivering exceptional service.

As she continues to grow professionally, Georgia is working toward a future role as an advisor, where she will help individuals and families navigate important financial decisions and work toward their long-term goals with confidence.

Outside of work, Georgia enjoys spending time with friends and family, staying active through fitness, and making the most of everything the Smithers area has to offer. She also enjoys spending time with her golden retriever, Riley, who is often by her side on outdoor adventures. Georgia is passionate about building a career centered on helping others and looks forward to continuing to grow both personally and professionally within the financial services industry.

Randi is the welcoming face of Sun Life in Smithers and is passionate about creating positive experiences for every Client who connects with our office. With several years of customer service experience, she enjoys building meaningful relationships and helping Clients feel comfortable, supported, and valued from their very first interaction.

Randi enjoys being part of the team and is excited to see where this opportunity with Sun Life will take her. Her friendly personality, strong communication skills, and dedication to Client service make her a valuable resource for both Clients and colleagues.

Outside of the office, Randi enjoys spending time with her dogs, staying active through exercise and volleyball, and taking advantage of everything the outdoors has to offer. She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and being part of the Smithers community.

Kaitlyn, who also goes by Kait, brings nearly two decades of experience in customer service and administration. She began her career in reception at 18 and has since worked in a variety of roles.

As she continues to grow professionally, Kaitlyn is working toward a career as an Advisor, where she hopes to help individuals and families protect what matters most while working toward their financial goals and long-term well-being. She is passionate about building trusted relationships and helping people feel confident about their financial future.

Outside of work, Kaitlyn is passionate about fitness, health, family and finding balance in everyday life. She enjoys staying active, whether it’s yoga, working toward her 10,000 steps, spending time outdoors and walking with her dogs, and making memories with her son. She loves spending time with family and friends and making the most of everything the outdoors and the Smithers area have to offer.

Kaitlyn looks forward to continuing to grow both personally and professionally while building a career centered around helping others and supporting their financial well-being.
