Kiven Wenman completed his degree in music education and spent several of his early years as an entrepreneur in the food and beverage industry owning a restaurant in New Westminster, a night club in Abbotsford and even a roller rink in Abbotsford. From there he spent over 10 years in the recruitment and training industry as VP Sales, Branch Manager and other leadership type roles.

After 4 years as an advisor, Kiven joined the Sun Life Financial management team in the Vancouver office. He recruited, trained and supported Advisors for 3 years in that role and was then promoted to Regional Manager for the Western Region where he developed and thrived for almost 6 years. In his regional role he was responsible for growing the region through the development of field managers, hosting large regional events and workshops as well as rolling up his sleeves with new advisor development. He helped in developing the region and hit record net gain growth 2 years in a row. He has hosted and attended several industry conferences that focus on leading a world-class financial team.

Kiven took over FC 28 Fraser Valley in 2020 as District Manager and took the Financial Centre from almost last place to # 3 in the country for Excellence Cup.

Kiven has spent most of his career in leadership and is motivated by helping others reach and exceed their business goals and personal dreams. Kiven currently resides in Langley with his wife, five kids, his motorcycle and his dog Ozzy.

Samar Najjar is a dynamic leader specializing in business development, recruitment, and coaching. With over a decade of experience in the financial services industry, Currently serving as a Business Development Partner at Sun Life, Samar plays a pivotal role in driving growth by attracting and developing top talent while fostering a culture of success.

Prior to this role, Samar worked as an Advisor at Sun Life and previously at TD Bank, where she provided high-level financial solutions to clients. Over eight years at TD, she progressed into leadership roles such as Assistant Branch Manager and Manager of Customer Experience, excelling in team coaching, performance optimisation, and client satisfaction.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from The Open University and certifications from the Canadian Securities Institute, Samar brings a strong foundation in planning, investments, and compliance. Her expertise in high-pressure situations, customer satisfaction, and mentorship makes them a valuable asset in the financial services industry.

Rob Humeniuk joins Sun Life with 25 years of industry experience paired with a passion to help advisors succeed. He believes in inspiring people to create their own definition of success and finding ways to connect resources to that dream, making it a reality.

Before entering the insurance industry, Rob spent time working with clients in the credit union system and with a charted bank managing a portfolio of commercial credit and investments. In 2004, he joined GWL as a Retirement and Investment Services Manager and was promoted to the Senior Investment Consultant for BC. In 2014, he took on the role of Insurance Consultant for the Fraser Valley and Interior regions and since 2020, was the Regional Account Executive for MGA Partnerships, helping advisors from British Columbia to Manitoba grow their wealth and insurance business.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a finance concentration from SFU, the CFP, CLU, and CHS designations.
