About

John started his career with Clarica in 2004. Over the years, John worked side by side with his wife Faith. He was the Managing Partner of JFH Insurance & Investments Services until March 2022. Then, John merged with IGL Financial Solutions and Adisa Benefit Consultants to form IGL Financial Services Group.

Throughout his career John has taken pride in explaining complicated and technical details in an easy and relatable format. John commits to helping pre-retiree individuals navigate the essential and difficult decisions they may face. This may also include helping businesses find unique and individualized solutions for the challenges they face. John continues to work with Clients once they have retired to navigate the ongoing decisions they need to make. John also takes a lead in designing group retirement and pension plans within our firm. He’s proud to hold the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and Charter Life Underwriter® designations.

Outside of the office, John and Faith have three children. They enjoy playing games, being on the soccer field and going for hikes. 

As an Advisor, Ryan is passionate about helping Clients reach their goals. Prior to his career in finance, Ryan spent 23 years within the consumer-packaged goods industry.

In 2017, Dan Roberge brought Ryan (his brother-in-law) into the IGL Financial team. He soon turned the operational reigns over to him, and Dan tacitly transitioned into retirement. Together with Grayden and John, they merged three organizations into one team to form IGL Financial Services Group. Ryan commits to lifelong learning. He completed college and is working towards his Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation.

During his working life, Ryan continued to pursue his calling in emergency services. He spent nine years with the Langley RCMP Auxiliary program. He also spent 14 years with the Chilliwack Fire Department, where he achieved the rank of Captain.

He is married to his high school sweetheart, for over 30 years. They have two amazing children and one grandchild. 

It was a natural decision for Grayden to follow in his father’s footsteps and enter the insurance industry. His methodical and thorough approach makes him excel in this career. You can expect honest and thoughtful service from Grayden. You’ll notice his dedication to the Clients he works with right away. He understands what he knows and what he doesn’t know. In those cases, he can find the right person with the skillset to help. He is humble and rather than making excuses, he tries to find answers quickly and create effective solutions. Let him help you balance your costs, bring value to your business all while giving exceptional service.

Outside of the office, you’ll find Grayden RVing with his wife and kids. Occasionally, he indulges his refined taste for gourmet food and fine wine. He’s an adventure and adrenalin junkie and loves to get out on his motorcycle or anything fast!

Faith’s love for numbers came from an unconventional route. It started when she was an Avionics Technician in the Canadian Armed Forces. Repairing the electrical and computer systems in helicopters is a strange way to start your love for numbers. However, in the end electronic systems are just a series of equations. While completing her Bachelor of Business Administration, she developed a passion for accounting and finance. Afterwards, Faith began working at a large accounting firm and then for the government as a Financial Control Officer. However, there was always something missing. Faith loves helping people and neither of those roles helped her to do that. 

This is when John and Faith decided that she should come work with him. Since then, she has been able to combine her two passions – helping people and numbers. Faith has been working in her current role since 2011 and is loving it. 

During this time John and Faith also adopted their three children. When the children came to John and Faith in 2014, they were 11, 9 and 6. They are teenagers now and enjoy getting involved in soccer, band and youth group. Between the kids and the office, Faith doesn’t have too much time to herself. But she is having fun with the busyness of this stage in life.

Alycia has a strong attraction to ensuring Client service is first and foremost in her daily activities. From her first job at Burger King to managing an Earls; customer service is her mantra.

Starting out initially in Client relations and service to existing Clients, she is now an Associate Advisor. Alycia also has an expertise with the use of social media and looks after all our social media needs.

Alycia is a true “foodie” and loves to share her love for food and cooking. She even attended a cooking class on a roof top in Florence, Italy on her honeymoon. Now, she has her forever “Sous Chef” Mike and official taster Butkus (Yellow Lab).

Alycia is an adventurous person and loves spending time outdoors with her husband and their dog. You’ll often find her walking, spending time at the river or camping. She also enjoys golf but enjoys it a little less since her dog can’t join in on the fun.

Kelly is the friendly voice when you call the office to set up an appointment or ask a question. Kelly manages the wealth planning side of IGL, from account opening to pension transfers and everything in between. She is also the keeper of John’s schedule.

Outside of work, now that she has finished her life as a soccer mom, Kelly loves her family time. She enjoys spending time with her family and pup. In her spare time, you might find her driving back roads with the windows down and the music turned up. Or you might find her on a long walk with her husband of 28 years.
