Josh graduated first in his class from the Royal Military College of Canada and went on to serve as a Naval Warfare Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces. When a rare metabolic disease brought his military career to an unexpected end, he refocused on a passion that began at age 15—financial planning. He earned his CFP designation as one of the youngest Canadians ever to do so and founded Kalyta Financial Solutions to guide fellow veterans through the medical release process he once faced.

Under Josh’s leadership, Kalyta Financial Solutions has grown to three offices across Ontario and will expand its team to six professionals by Q1 2026. He takes pride in delivering tailored strategies and is incredibly grateful to be able to do something that he loves every day.

Outside the office, Josh champions charities supporting wounded veterans and enjoys sporting clay and trap shooting.

Chanelle brings a dynamic mix of energy, resilience, and Client-focused service to Kalyta Financial Solutions. While studying Kinesiology and playing varsity rugby at York University, she developed a deep appreciation for teamwork, perseverance, and discipline. After school, Chanelle became Assistant Manager of Customer Service at eCapital Freight Factoring in Orillia, where she sharpened her skills in Client relations and financial services.

Her experience led her to a role at Investment Planning Counsel, where she discovered a true passion for the financial industry. Now, as a Service Associate at Sun Life and Josh at Kalyta Financial Solutions, Chanelle thrives on helping Clients grow their investment portfolios and navigate life and health insurance with clarity and care.

Away from the office, she enjoys staying active through sports and hiking, curling up with a good book, exploring new places with loved ones—and pampering her beloved Shih Tzu, Nova.

Patti has proudly called the Kawartha Lakes home for the past 11 years and brings warmth and dedication to her role as an Advisor Assistant in the financial services industry. With nine years of experience—including four with Sun Life—she has built strong, lasting relationships with Clients and thrives in the positive environment created by her close-knit team.

Outside the office, Patti is a devoted mom to two sons and a proud grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren. She enjoys boating and golfing with her husband during the warmer months, and when winter sets in, you’ll find her curled up with a good book, quilting, or cheering on her favourite football team.

Alex graduated from the University of Ottawa with a degree in Accounting and Finance. Before transitioning into financial services, he built a strong foundation in accounting, budgeting and forecasting through a series of analytical roles that strengthened his ability to support Clients in making sound financial decisions.

As an associate advisor, Alex brings a detail-oriented and strategic approach to every Client relationship, combining technical expertise with a genuine passion for helping others achieve their financial goals. Alex takes pride in delivering tailored advice and supporting Clients through all stages of their financial journey.

Outside of the office, he enjoys staying active through playing hockey, going to the gym and planning his next trip to a new travel destination.
