As a financial planner, I’m dedicated to the success of the Clients I work with. Having built my team and business from the ground up, I believe in the value we bring to Clients.

Giving back to the community is important to me. I believe strongly in giving back and regularly work in mentoring and financial literacy, including numerous presentations across the country every year. I am a keen basketball fan and take part annually in Sun Life initiatives, including the Dunk for Diabetes and MLSE Foundation Jumpstart program. I have served as the Chaplain at St Andrew’s Lodge, as well as multiple parades with the Keystone Kops Shriners group, raising funds for children's hospitals and child burn victims.

Finally, as a husband and father to two boys, my family keeps me busy! In my free time, I enjoy building large LEGO sets, reading and driving my kids around to their activities. I also enjoy walking our dogs in the ravine.

Financial planning isn’t about products - it’s about people. I’m excited to be part of a team at Sun Life that helps families and business owners by creating financial plans that have a lasting, positive impact on the people they care about most.

I’ve worked with some amazing companies since I joined the financial services industry in 1993. This experience has shaped my perspective towards holistic financial planning and portfolio research/design.

In my volunteer work with Junior Achievement Central Ontario, I’ve spent time in the class room helping develop the financial literacy of primary grade students.

I’m a husband and father of two. My “kids” are both university graduates now, but that doesn’t stop me from taking them down to Fan Expo in Toronto or sharing my love for Lego and Star Wars.  

For the past 13 years, I’ve worked alongside families and individuals to help them navigate the moving parts of their financial lives.

Too often, financial services lead with products instead of people. My approach is different. I believe real planning starts by sitting down and truly understanding what keeps you up at night, what goals light you up, and what trade-offs you are – and aren’t – willing to make. Whether it’s building a roadmap for your children’s education, protecting your household against the unexpected, or mapping out a confident retirement, the focus is always on your life first and the numbers second. I am proud to work with a team that believes in proper holistic financial planning.

Personally, I am a husband and father to one daughter, and our family life keeps us busy! In my free time I enjoy travelling to new places and spending time enjoying our family cottage on Georgian Bay.

As an individual with over six years of financial services experience, I am confident in offering Clients sound advice. My background in the financial sector allows me to provide unmatched Client service. I strive to always keep up to date with industry trends. Clients appreciate my dedication to establishing relationships based on the utmost respect and confidence. I believe in bringing maximal value to Clients while simultaneously educating them.

My 10+ years as a competitive athlete gives me a great appreciation for teamwork. I believe that is a key component to success. My personal and professional experiences have shaped me into a dedicated, adaptable and strategic individual which I intend to bring to every Client encounter.

As a detail-oriented person, I believe my meticulous and analytical work ethic is an asset in this role and industry. And my desire for Clients to receive the best care possible allows me to give them my best!

With a bachelor’s degree in English and history, I enjoy researching and writing about history in my spare time.

With eight years’ experience at Sun Life and over a decade in the service industry, I understand the importance of excellent customer service. The topic of finances and planning for the future is extremely personal and can be daunting. It is my goal to ensure Clients are comfortable and confident every step of the way. 

I’m a proud wife and dog mom who loves board games, kayaking and camping.

With more than a decade of experience in the financial industry, I provide dependable, organized support to ensure both Clients and advisors feel confident every step of the process. I value clear communication, efficiency, and creating a positive experience for everyone involved.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and exploring new places.

With six years experience at Sun Life, I work as an advisor assistant supporting our team and ensuring a seamless Client experience. My thirteen years in the restaurant industry as an operations manager strengthened my ability to lead, stay organized and deliver exceptional service in high pressure environments. Building and maintaining strong Client relationships is very important to me and I pride myself on delivering reliable, detail-oriented support while ensuring Clients feel valued, heard and well cared for.

Outside of work I enjoy family life as a wife and mother, living in the city, travelling, good food and spending time outdoors.

As someone early in his career in the industry I plan to bring a level of analytical rigour to my work that reflects my past experience. I hold a degree in Financial Economics from the University of Western Ontario. I have also completed a year-long internship on the Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets team where I gained firsthand experience inside one of Canada’s leading capital markets platforms.

I bring a level of technical understanding to my work and believe my ability to communicate this to Clients sets me apart from others in the industry. I plan to pair this technical foundation with a sharp ability to listen, communicate complex topics simply, and build the kind of trust that lasting Client relationships are made of.

Outside of work you’ll usually find me on my snowboard in the winter, with a guitar in my hand, or travelling somewhere new and exciting. 

Chiao Ling (Jessica) manages Client and team events, as well as advisor travel, along with marketing, social media and Client service for Mandarin speaking Clients. She is a mother of two active boys and has a background in bilingual media and marketing.

In addition to working in other industries over the years, I have over a decade of experience in the financial services industry. The past ten years have been at Sun Life working with advisors.

I believe in putting Clients first—in providing quality and timely service. This makes for a great working relationship and ensures we’re always doing our best for you!
