Growing up with my dad in the insurance business gave me an early insight into how I can make a profound difference in people’s lives. My career with Sun Life took off in 1997. I have been an active partner with Thompson and Wagner since 2003.

Building long standing relationships with Clients has been the cornerstone of my business. My wife Jayde and I have a blended family of four children. It is easy to understand the importance that financial security has in our lives.

As well as helping families protect their interests, I thoroughly enjoy working with corporate and small business Clients with their insurance and investment needs. Our knowledge of the changing taxation system enables us to tailor plans to take advantage of their corporate structure. This helps them lower the taxes they pay in conjunction with their insurance planning.

I joined Thompson & Wagner in 2005 following a career in the golf industry. Subsequently, I joined the partnership in 2008. I pride myself on the ability to listen to Clients. I work to gain and understand not only their financial goals, but also their personal dreams and greatest fears. Identifying the Client’s current situation and their objectives is the foundation to building a financial plan.

My wife, Pam and I have two children, Brayden and Megan. I understand the importance of protection planning for life’s uncontrollable events, as well as investment planning to save for our future.

Clients often tell me that they appreciate my ability to explain investments in a simple way. My goal with every Client relationship is that my plans and advice allow them to make confident decisions and sleep well at night.

I enjoy spending time outdoors with our fur baby Luna, relaxing at the lake, and playing the occasional round of golf with friends.

Originally from a small-town in Australia, I immigrated to Canada in 2017 as a football (soccer) coach. At the time, I travelled province to province until I landed in Petawawa Ontario where I met my wife. We moved to Peace River in 2020 with our baby girl. Both my wife and daughter have been my drive and inspiration through this journey. They cemented my belief in the importance of protecting what matters most from uncontrollable events life throws at you.

I joined Thompson and Wagner in 2023 to pursue a career in financial services. Personal finance has always been a passion of mine. I am currently working my way towards industry designations to better serve both individuals as well as corporate and small business Clients with their ever-changing needs.

My goal is to promote a long standing, collaborative environment. I want to provide trusted, holistic, and professional advice and strategies that stir confidence in Clients. Ultimately, I want them and their businesses to prosper and enjoy life knowing they are protected from whatever life throws their way.

Seeing Clients reach their goals is what makes everything we do worth while. I eagerly look forward to working and growing with each person I have the privilege of working with.

As an aspiring businesswoman born and raised in High Level, Alberta, I started working at a young age. My focus has been on business management and intermediate accounting of small businesses. I have a diverse background in the oil and gas industry as well as the business/financial industry.

I have owned and operated two successful businesses within Alberta (oilfield trucking and an insurance/investments office). Since moving to Fairview in 2009, with my husband Ken, we have raised our blended family here in the Peace Country. 

When the opportunity arose to work with the Thompson & Wagner team, I had to take it. I knew that I was partnering with a deeply rooted family-owned business that brought huge value to the community. Finding the time to sort out your financial priorities can be challenging. I'm dedicated to helping Clients. I will help them make a plan that works to build their savings, protect their family from unexpected financial burdens, and retire their way, on their terms.

I look forward to bringing my knowledge and experience to the Thompson & Wagner team and Clients.  

I am an Associate Advisor with Thompson & Wagner and I have been part of the team since 2002. I am dedicated to helping our team with wealth products to ensure we make necessary changes on Client accounts. I have my Mutual Funds and Life Insurance Licenses to provide service with Segregated funds, Mutual funds and GIC/Annuities. My focus is making sure we meet all Client's needs and that they get the best service possible. Focusing on Client relationships and knowing that someone can help them is what makes our team special.

Having grown up in the area, I have close ties with the community. I graduated from Fairview College with a Business Administration Certificate. I have worked in various administrative roles before joining the team in 2014. I'm life insurance licensed and mutual fund registered. I share the passion for building lasting Client relationships and providing the best Client service possible.

Growing up in the community, graduating from Fairview College and having my children grow up here allows for close ties to the community. Together with the rest of the team, I pride myself in providing the best administrative support services I can. I try to build lasting Client relationships.

As an Advisor Assistant, I’m the first point of contact for Clients who call or visit our Fairview office. I joined Thompson & Wagner in 2022 and really enjoy bringing my admin and management experience to the team. I pride myself in my ability to offer exceptional Client service.

I grew up in Hines Creek Area. When I’m not working, I enjoy crafting, camping or spending time with my three adult children. 

With over a decade of experience in the financial industry, I have been proudly serving Clients at Sun Life since February 2013. My career began with roles in the financial sector as an advisor and mortgage agent, followed by several years working in call centers for prominent companies in Alberta. These diverse experiences have equipped me with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of financial products and services, which I continue to use in my current role.

As the first point of contact for Clients, I am passionate about making financial literacy accessible and empowering Clients with the knowledge they need to secure their financial future. I thrive on building relationships and take pride in helping individuals and families navigate their financial goals.

When I’m not working, I enjoy quality time with family and friends, and staying active through swimming, biking, and walking. Growing up in the Maritimes instilled in me a love for the ocean, which continues to be a meaningful part of my life. Traveling with my family is another passion, as it allows us to explore new places and create lasting memories together.
