Jelena spent 10 years in marketing and sales roles before moving into financial services and the role of Associate Advisor on our team. She has attained both her Life and Mutual Fund Licenses, to help young families and professionals plan for their futures by accumulating wealth and creating insurance strategies to minimize risk. She is also focused on providing group benefit options to business owners.

Jelena provides insurance reviews to Clients and is available to work with the adult children of Clients, to continue the tradition of care and service Christine has been providing since 2002.

Originally born in Latvia, Jelena moved to Canada after living in Britain for 12 years. She speaks three languages including English, Russian and Latvian. She appreciates the Canadian way of life as a mother and professional, and the opportunity to walk alongside Clients through all life stages. Jelena loves getting to know Clients and focusing on their priorities and needs. She believes trust is one of the key requirements of a successful advisory relationship and building her practice.

For Jelena, a healthy balanced lifestyle includes working out, focusing on nutrition, and traveling with her daughter whenever they can get away to visit family and friends. 

Amanda began her career with our team in 2018 providing part time administrative support. Amanda ran her own home daycare business for 16 years after completing her Early Childhood Education Diploma. Always interested in learning and growth, Amanda obtained her Life Insurance License in 2022 and moved into a Service Associate role on the team.

She enjoys applying her organizational skills to preparing Client files for review meetings and supporting new business applications with an eye on every detail. Amanda manages Client data base and is always working on improving our systems and processes to create a positive Client experience in a compliant manner.

Planning for the future and knowing you are prepared as much as you can be for the unexpected resonates with Amanda, as the mother of an exceptional child. Care for Clients and their welfare is a key motivating factor to her contributions every day. In her spare time, Amanda keeps busy volunteering, fishing, crafting, baking, cooking, and relaxing with her family at their trailer.

Laura has a strong and extensive customer service background developed as a business owner, working in retail management and in financial services. She understands and loves working with people.

She is our office first responder and the welcoming voice you hear on the phone or meet when you visit our office. Laura began working as an assistant in her father’s financial practice over 30 years ago. After running her own bakery, and becoming a mother, she joined our team in 2016.

Laura takes pride in assisting Clients with their service needs and ensuring all wealth transactions are managed efficiently and in a timely manner. Laura’s personal experience as a widow with a young autistic child has taught her the importance of preparing for the unexpected. She believes in building a strong financial foundation for the future.

In her spare time Laura is an avid baker, dabbles in working with yarn and creating memories at the trailer with family and friends. According to Christine- Laura makes an amazing banana cake!
