Darcy grew up on a farm near Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, where he learned the value of hard work and the importance of a strong financial foundation from a young age. That early experience shaped his deep understanding of how essential it is to protect yourself and your family from life’s unexpected events.

He became a Sun Life advisor in 2010, launching his business in Calgary. In 2012, he relocated to Medicine Hat, where he established what is now a thriving financial planning practice, DLF Financial Services Inc. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Darcy focuses on retirement, tax, estate, and succession planning for both individuals and business owners.

Darcy is married to Linnette. Together, they share a passion for travel and photography, capturing adventures from around the world. He’s also an avid mountain biker and enjoys golfing. In the summer, Darcy and Linnette invest time in their nieces and nephews, taking them on meaningful excursions. A strong sense of family and community is at the core of everything Darcy does, both personally and professionally.

Kevin Bandelow, CFP, CLU, PFP, EPC, is a seasoned financial services leader with more than 30 years of experience in financial planning, leadership, and Client relations. Throughout his career with Sun Life, Kevin has specialized in advanced financial, estate, and business planning while leading high performing teams across Canada. He is known for his strong commitment to Client service, strategic leadership, and community involvement.

Outside of work, he enjoys camping in the great outdoors, spending time with family, and making memories as Grandpa to five little superhumans. He is also a proud dog dad to Noah, a beloved therapy dog who brings joy to many in the community.

With a warm, Client-first approach and strong attention to detail, Denise oversees the day-to-day operations that help keep the DLF Financial team running efficiently and effectively. Her role includes Client service oversight, account management support, team mentoring, compliance coordination, and process improvement initiatives that support both the team and overall Client experience.

Holding both a mutual fund registration and life insurance license, Denise is committed to delivering reliable support, operational excellence, and clear communication while building efficient systems that help drive consistency and growth.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and being outdoors—whether hiking, kayaking, or golfing.

Linnette plays a supportive role within the DLF Financial team, helping foster strong Client relationships and contributing to the welcoming, Client-focused environment the firm is known for. She enjoys connecting with Clients, building meaningful relationships, and helping ensure Clients feel valued and cared for throughout their experience with the team.

Outside of work, Linnette enjoys spending time outdoors, including mountain biking, skiing, and travelling to experience new cultures and meet people from around the world. She and her husband also value spending quality time with family and creating lasting memories together.
