When I’m not working, I’m raising my three young kids with my incredible wife. I enjoy early morning workouts at my local CrossFit gym chasing PRs. I also dabble in sustainable/regenerative farming on my 10 acre farm.

I have been working in the financial industry since 1989. I help manage employee benefit plans for over 200 corporations. I have achieved both the Certified Senior Advisor and Registered Health Underwriter designations. I am committed to providing the best possible service to all Clients and their families.

Ray has over 25 years of industry experience, including a long tenure at Pacific Blue Cross, the largest provider of benefit plans in British Columbia. Ray has experience in claims examination, underwriting large and complex accounts, and managing hundreds of benefit plans across the province from quoting through to renewals.

Ray is known for his analytical skills, superior service and can-do attitude.

With over 16 years of dedicated service at SunLife, I've cultivated expertise in the financial and group benefits industry.

Over my 30-year career in sales and customer service, I've forged solid relationships with Clients as they navigate their financial journeys. I thrive on the challenges of problem-solving and contributing to Clients meeting and exceeding their goals. My focus is on fostering long-lasting relationships.

Beyond my professional life, I remain committed to a balanced and healthy lifestyle. This includes going to the gym, biking, and hiking. These activities enhance my well-being and sharpen my problem-solving skills in my career.

I’ve had the privilege of being a member of the DCFS team since 2020. I thrive on meeting practical needs of my team and of Clients, excelling in office administration and bridging the gaps to ensure our collective success. My professional journey is rooted in Human Resource Management. This allows me to understand and support individuals in their professional and personal growth. I’m all about helping out wherever I can to make the process smoother for everyone.

Beyond work, I have spent the past decade as a homeschooling parent, a role I whole-heartedly embrace and cherish. It has taught me valuable lessons in patience, creativity and adaptability. When I’m not at work or helping my daughter figure out algebra, the great outdoors is my happy place. I love camping, hiking and seeking those off-the-beaten-path experiences that enrich life’s journey.
