Over the past 20 years as an advisor with Sun Life, I have helped many Clients develop solid financial strategies. I work with many business owners and professionals to help them achieve their goals. I specialize in wealth management, investment planning and retirement planning. Seeing Clients prosper and live out their dreams is why I love my job.

I am a qualified member of the Million Dollar Round Table. MDRT is an international independent association representing the world’s best sales professionals in the life insurance based financial industry.

I grew up in Powell River, but I now call Nanaimo home. I truly enjoy Nanaimo and spend a fair bit of time in the community volunteering with local charities. I have been married to my lovely wife for over 25 years. When I’m not working I enjoy cycling, hiking and fishing.

As an advisor, I specialize in life insurance, health insurance and wealth solutions. I help Clients with uncontrollable events, controllable priorities and growth opportunities. My goal is to understand the Client’s big picture and their desires for the future. With this in mind, I can help them today while setting them up for future success.

When I was young, my family owned restaurants and a catering company. Growing up in the service industry taught me a lot about work ethic. Prior to joining Sun Life, I gained 10 years of experience in the customer service industry. This experience has continued to help me in my role where I work with Clients on a daily basis.

In my free time, you will find me snowboarding, hiking or playing golf and basketball. 

As a Service Associate, I enjoy my role because I'm passionate about providing excellent customer service to Clients.

I believe in continuous education. I am working towards completing a bachelor’s degree and am enrolled in a Mutual Fund course.

Prior to joining the team, I spent 15 years working in real estate. I worked with many different people and Clients in this role. I believe my experience helps me today in my current role to understand Client’s needs easily.

I am happily married and have two amazing girls. I am passionate about healthy living and in my free time I like to be physically active. In my free time, I enjoy strength training, cycling, hiking, paddle boarding and snowboarding.

In my role as Advisor Assistant, I enjoy supporting advisors and helping them provide excellent service to Clients. I’m looking forward to learning more about the financial services industry. My background is in customer service and I enjoy getting to know the Clients we work with. I understand that each Client is unique and deserves the utmost care and attention.

When I’m not working, my active family of four keeps me busy. In my free time, I enjoy refinishing furniture, gardening, floral arranging and spending time outdoors. 

As an Advisor Assistant, I prioritize Client’s comfort and stress-free experiences. With a background in paralegal and management, I bring valuable insights to the financial services industry. I genuinely enjoy engaging with Clients and understanding their unique needs. By providing guidance, I create a sense of safety and confidence in their financial journey. 

Outside of work, I cherish quality time with my daughter, exploring nature and participating in sports. I also find relaxation in reading, meditation and maintaining my physical well-being through gym sessions.
