What Does an Introductory Appointment Look Like?
Language: Our advisors provide services in English, and we also have advisors who can assist Clients in French and Italian. If another language would help you feel more comfortable, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.
Meeting Location: We believe the best meeting is one that's convenient for you. You're welcome to meet with us in person at our office located at 333 Preston Street, Suite 700. If you prefer, we can also connect by Microsoft Teams or phone.
Who Should Attend: A licensed advisor will be present at every meeting. Depending on the nature of the discussion, an assistant may also attend to provide support.
Because many financial decisions affect more than one person, we encourage Clients to bring a spouse, family member, friend or other trusted individual if they'd like. We find the best outcomes often come when everyone involved understands the goals and has the opportunity to participate in the conversation.
Understanding Your Situation: The first meeting is about getting to know one another. While we'll begin learning about your financial situation, it may take more than one meeting to fully understand your goals, priorities and circumstances.
That's perfectly normal. We believe strong financial advice starts with understanding the person behind the numbers.
What to Expect: There are no expectations or obligations following an introductory meeting. We view it as an opportunity to determine whether we're the right fit for one another.
Trust takes time to build, and we'll move at a pace that's comfortable for you. Any decision to move forward should be based on the value you see in the relationship and advice provided.
Information We May Request: As we continue working together, we may ask for documents such as investment statements, pension information, insurance policies or other financial records.
These documents help us better understand your situation and ensure any recommendations are based on a complete picture of your finances.
Next Steps: The process is always guided by your comfort level and goals. The more we learn about your financial situation, the more personalized our advice and recommendations can become.
The decision to move forward is always yours.
Fees: We believe in complete transparency. Your advisor will discuss fees, compensation arrangements and any other costs early in the relationship so you understand exactly what to expect.
