After being in the financial world for over 10 years now, I realize many things change but some things do remain the same. People want assurance. They want to know they are not alone and that someone is willing to walk alongside them.

My journey to become a financial planner has been a very convoluted but very satisfying ride.

- Having gone through a divorce early, I realized first hand the importance of financial planning for the unexpected.

- With 15 years of pastoral experience, I understand how important it is to align your financial planning with your personal values.

- As a business owner, I understand the complexities associated with ensuring your business needs are met.

I love reading and learning more about the world around me. When I am not assisting Clients, I enjoy going for hikes and visiting new places in the world with my wife. I also enjoy trying new things that challenge my comfort zone, both intellectually and physically.

I love what I do because it’s not just about finances – it’s about people. Living and working in a small community has shown me how important trust, relationships and genuine support really are. My goal is to help Clients truly understand how their money works so they can make decisions with confidence. Whether it’s planning for the future or protecting what matters most, I’m passionate about teaching and guiding every step of the way.

I’m currently working on my CFP (Certified Financial Planning) designation to enhance the level of service and advice I provide to Clients. 

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and friends. You can find me volunteering at the Pembina Nordic Centre, where I’m involved in sports I love like cross country skiing and mountain biking. 

When my youngest started kindergarten, I was unsure what I was going to do with all my new found time until I was offered the position here at Forward Motion Solutions Inc. This office has given me a new purpose outside of my home that I have not had in eight years. Coming back into the workforce, into a completely new field was intimidating but working with such patient, competent and knowledgeable individuals made my transition much simpler. Now I am thriving and absolutely loving learning about the different things that we offer to Clients.

When I am not in the office, you can most likely find me with my kids close to some kind of body of water with a book in hand!
