Brent began his career in the financial services industry in 1992 after graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) since 2003, he specializes in retirement, estate, and succession planning. Brent lives in Vittoria with his wife, Karen, and has three grown daughters.

Working with you, Brent provides insurance and investment solutions to fit you, your family, or your business needs. He offers holistic advice so you can achieve your goals, protect your lifestyle and enjoy a healthy financial future.

Brent is an active member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). An independent international association, MDRT represents the top 1% of financial services professionals helping Clients reach their goals. He’s also a member of Sun Life’s Hall of Fame. Brent served as Co-Chair of Sun Life’s National Advisory Council and as a past board member of the Advocis professional association chapter.

Brent is a proud Sustaining Supporter of the Norfolk General Hospital Golf Tournament and a longtime director of Kidsport. He feels it is important to give back to the local community. In his off time, Brent enjoys hockey, boating, skiing, fishing and cottage time with family and friends.

Heather joined the financial services industry with Mutual Life of Canada in 1978. She started working at McKay Insurance & Financial Services Inc. in 1989. Heather is a licensed life insurance and registered mutual funds associate committed to providing you with great service. With over 30 years of knowledge and experience, Heather can help you achieve your health and financial wellness goals. She’s a valuable part of our team and we value her dedication to Clients and to the community.

Heather and her husband Chris live in Delhi and have a wonderful family, including two children and five beautiful grandchildren. Heather is very active in her community, having volunteered for many local organizations over the years. Now she spends most of her time out of the office with family, friends or a good book.

Barclay began working with Sun Life in 2009 and joined the team at McKay Financial in 2012. He is mutual fund and life licensed to help provide you with more personalized insurance and investment solutions. As a family man, Barclay is able to provide holistic advice due to his deep understanding of Client's needs. We’re very proud to have Barclay as a part of our team.

Barclay and his wife, Jennifer, have three wonderful, young daughters. As a family, they enjoy skiing, camping, and all sorts of adventures. Barclay is an accomplished rugby player, having played for Canada in 2001 – 2004. He played on the Brantford Harlequins Rugby Team for twenty years, and now serves as a coach. Barclay was a 2020 inductee to the Brantford & Area Sports Hall of Recognition for his accomplishments in Rugby.

With a background in banking, Paula joined McKay Insurance & Financial Services Inc. in 2012. Paula is mutual fund and life licensed. Paula is dedicated to providing friendly and excellent service, and can help Clients achieve their financial goals. Her kind and caring personality also makes everyone feel welcomed as soon as they walk through the door.

Paula grew up in Simcoe, but spent many years living in Saskatchewan. We are so happy that Paula returned to Simcoe. She’s an asset to our community and to our team here at McKay Insurance and Financial Services.

When not in the office, Paula is an avid long distance runner. She also enjoys her Book Club, Dinner Club, Girls Weekends, and time with friends and family at her cottage. Paula lives in Simcoe with her husband Ed and is a proud mom and grandma.

Kyle first began working for a banking institution, then joined the team at McKay Financial in 2018. Kyle holds his Life Insurance License and Mutual Fund License, along with the Chartered Life Underwriting* (CLU) designation. Kyle prides himself on providing quality service and aims to build solid Client relationships through trust, integrity, and hard work.

Kyle works with you to find solutions that fit your insurance and investment needs. His positive outlook and kind, calm personality make him a great addition to our team. Clients of all ages find him a pleasure to work with.

Kyle was raised in Simcoe and now resides in Delhi with his spouse Amber and their dog Kona. When not in the office, Kyle participates in local hockey as a goalie and plays men’s soccer in Delhi. 

Karen has become increasingly active in a supporting role at McKay Financial over the past few years. Her strong organizational and people skills help to keep things on track and running smoothly in both offices. She enjoys interacting with the team and with Clients on a daily basis.

In her off-time, Karen enjoys spending time outdoors and volunteering in the community. She also actively supports her three daughters in all of their pursuits. Karen was born and raised in Simcoe, and is a graduate of Western and McGill Universities. She is proud to live, work and play in beautiful Norfolk County.

Danielle attended the University of Guelph and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce. She majored in Leadership and Organizational Management and minored in Marketing Management. Danielle is a friendly, conscientious, and motivated person, which makes her a great asset to our team.

When not in the office, Danielle enjoys reading, country music, and good times with friends and family. She has a love of travel and adventure and aims to live life to the fullest.
