With more than 24 years of experience in the financial services industry, Corey Murdy is dedicated to helping individuals, families, and business owners achieve their financial goals through personalized advice and long-term planning. As the owner of RidgeStone Financial Services Ltd. and a Financial Advisor with Sun Life, Corey believes that strong relationships, built on trust and understanding, are the foundation of financial success.

Corey takes the time to understand each Client’s unique circumstances and develops customized strategies designed to help them build, protect, and preserve their wealth through every stage of life. Whether Clients are starting their careers, planning for retirement, or navigating life’s important transitions, he is committed to providing clear guidance and exceptional service.

Known for his approachable style, integrity, and Client-first philosophy, Corey continually invests in professional development to better serve his Clients. He has earned his Qualified Associate Financial Planner™ (QAFP®) designation and completed the Manitoba Best Service Excellence Workshop through the Manitoba Tourism Education Council.

Outside of the office, Corey is a proud husband and father of two and an active member of the Thompson community. His volunteer involvement includes coaching basketball, supporting local youth sports programs, serving as a past President of the Thompson Junior Soccer Association, and serving as Co-Chair of Finance for the 2026 Manitoba Winter Games.

Kim began her career in the financial services industry in 2005 and has progressed through increasingly responsible roles to her current position as Wealth Administrator with Sun Life. With over 20 years of industry experience, she provides comprehensive administrative and planning support, ensuring a high standard of service and attention to detail for Clients. Kim is committed to acting in Clients’ best interests and values ongoing professional development within the evolving financial services landscape.

She earned her diploma in Business Accountancy from Keewatin Community College and has continued to strengthen her professional credentials through certifications in Human Resource Management, Life and Accidental Death Insurance, and the QAFP® (Qualified Associate Financial Planner) designation.

Kim is deeply committed to her community. As a founding member and current President of 100 Women Who Care – Thompson Chapter. She was a member of the Thompson Humane Society and active member of the Manitoba Métis community, demonstrating her dedication to meaningful community involvement.

Born and raised in Thompson, Kim takes pride in her Northern roots. She enjoys fishing, snowmobiling, and travelling, and resides at Paint Lake with her spouse.
