As an Advisor Assistant, my role is to be the first point of contact for Clients. For over four years, I have supported Ron and helped him build the business. Prior to joining the team, I worked in call centres, as a mortgage agent and as an advisor. These experiences gave me the skills that I still use today. I’m passionate about ensuring Clients gain financial education and knowledge to help them with planning their futures. I really enjoy helping others and getting to know the Clients we work with.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Travelling is a passion of mine and I enjoy doing that with my family. To stay active, I spend time swimming, biking and walking. I grew up in the Maritimes and the ocean is a big part of my life.

Samara Nelson
Since 2016, I have worked in the financial services industry in various roles. I believe it’s important for Clients to be knowledgeable about their financial future. My hope is that after working with our team, Clients feel empowered. I support our team in many ways such as administration and assisting Clients with their financial questions and concerns.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our young child. We love exploring and getting outside. I love doing winter activities with my family, including sledding, skating, and skiing. I'm also a long-time vegetarian and I love trying veggie options at local Edmonton restaurants.
