I joined Sun Life in 2013, following two decades of dedicated service with one of Nova Scotia's largest Property and Casualty Insurance Brokers. As the Director of Information Technology, my keen analytical skills were instrumental in navigating complex landscapes. However, I felt compelled to merge these abilities with my passion for assisting others. I took on the role of a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®), a decision I am immensely proud of.

In 2015, during the peak of the oil and gas crisis, my family relocated to Alberta. Settling in Calgary, I was determined to empower the hard-working individuals of the region with financial solutions they could trust.

Above all, nurturing Client relationships remains my paramount focus. I deeply value the trust Clients place in me, and I am committed to listening intently to their aspirations, offering clarity in even the most intricate financial scenarios. My approach is centered on ensuring Clients comprehend their options fully, enabling them to make well-informed decisions that align with their goals and aspirations.

My wife and I have three children and we live in Cochrane, Alberta. In my free time, I am an avid geocacher and e-biker along with my wonderful wife Kim. We enjoy offering Canadian hospitality to anyone wanting a taste of our East Coast values.

I bring more than 25 years of experience in financial services to my role as a Sun Life Financial advisor. I’m a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) professional with a background in banking, wealth management and insurance. I can help to develop and execute strategy in all aspects of a comprehensive financial plan including investment and savings, cashflow and debt management, protection, estate and legacy planning, tax minimization and charitable giving.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our son, who competes internationally in Irish dance. We enjoy travelling with him and being part of the Irish dance community. My other interests include reading, nature walks and collecting sports cards and vinyl records.

Originally from Nova Scotia, my career journey began there before I relocated to Alberta. I joined Sun Life in 2014 and have since obtained both my Life Insurance and Mutual Funds licenses. Completing my QAFP certification has further enhanced my expertise and ability to serve Clients effectively.

Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my husband and daughter. Whether we're hiking in Alberta or enjoying annual vacations by the ocean on the East Coast, family time is always a priority.

In 2020, my family and I made the exciting move from Calgary to Squamish, BC. Living here has been a dream come true, as we now have easy access to all the hiking, rock climbing, and outdoor family adventures that we could ever wish for. It's a joy to immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature and create lasting memories together.

I joined Searchlight Financial Services Inc. in August 2026 as an Associate Advisor with a passion for helping individuals and families build confidence in their financial future. Working alongside James Bilcox, Ian McCulloch and the entire Searchlight team, I help Clients develop personalized strategies to protect what matters most while building wealth through disciplined savings and investment planning. I am particularly passionate about helping Clients improve cash flow, reduce debt and make informed financial decisions that support their long-term goals.

With an approachable and inquisitive nature and a strong work ethic, I am committed to building trusted relationships and delivering advice that is practical, personalized and easy to understand. Outside the office, I enjoy carpentry, baseball and golf, and value spending time with my wife, Kylie, and my extended family and friends

I have been an administrative professional for most of my career. I have had the chance to work in various industries including corporate law and with non-profit organizations. Throughout my experiences, I’ve always enjoyed interacting with Clients and providing varying levels of customer service.

I joined the team at Searchlight Financial Services in 2023. Since then, I have highly valued being part of a team that values and invests in Clients. I enjoy being able to use my knowledge and understanding to assist both Clients and my team.

I’m originally from Ontario. While I love making trips back in the summer to see family, the mountains and Alberta culture have a special place in my heart. I’ve been happily settled and enjoying mountain views in the Calgary area for almost ten years. I spend much of my spare time investing in my community, singing, reading, and chasing sunsets.

In August 2021, I proudly joined Searchlight's team as an administrative professional. Over the years, I've gained extensive experience across diverse industries, including investments, public practice accounting, and the information technology sector.

I worked for a reputable financial services firm for several years as well as an accounting firm for seven years. My experience has given me the ability to effectively help Clients. My focus is on scheduling appointments and working through administrative issues and insurance requests.

I'm a true Alberta native, having briefly ventured to Peachland, BC, for about a year. However, my heart remained in Calgary, so I made my way back home. I graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2005, further solidifying my roots in the region. In my spare time, my husband and I camp out in the Kootenay Valley at my family's acreage. We enjoy playing video games and doing abstract "acrylic paint pour" art. We have two kitties who we love to bits.

I joined the team in May 2025, bringing with me a strong administrative background and a heartfelt commitment to making people feel supported and understood. With over 10 years of experience in office administration and customer service across Canada and the U.S., I’ve built a career around clear communication, organization, and care for the people I work with.

What I value most is human connection. Being the person others can count on, especially when things feel overwhelming or unfamiliar. I’m fluent in English and Russian and have spent many years volunteering as a translator and support person for newcomers, helping them find clarity and comfort in new surroundings.

Originally from Eastern Europe, I now live in Calgary with my two teenage sons. They keep life full of laughter, learning, and perspective. When I’m not working, I enjoy hiking in the mountains, time with my family or friends, and creating small moments of order and calm, whether that’s through conversation or a well-organized calendar.
