We invite you to join us for The Path Forward: Planning Today for Tomorrow, an informative evening bringing together local professionals and personal experience to explore the practical, legal, and financial steps involved before and after the loss of a loved one.

At Silver Path Financial Solutions, we believe that being prepared can make a meaningful difference, especially during life’s more difficult moments.

When someone we love passes away, grief is often accompanied by unfamiliar decisions, paperwork, and responsibilities. Knowing what to expect, what you can do ahead of time, and where to turn for help can make that process a little easier.

What we’ll cover:

Personal experience: A firsthand perspective on navigating the responsibilities that follow a loss.

Funeral planning: McPherson Funeral Services will discuss arrangements and the value of planning ahead.

Legal considerations: Spruce Legal will explore wills, powers of attorney, probate, and executor responsibilities.

Understanding the executor’s role: Dan Price, Director of Advanced Planning at Sun Life Global Investments, will explain the responsibilities involved in settling an estate and what executors should understand before accepting the role.

Financial matters: Our Silver Path team will discuss settling accounts, insurance and investment claims, and the support available throughout the process.
