Stacy prides himself in providing insurance and investment advice that is sound and easy to understand. He wants Clients to truly trust that he will put their best interest before his own. He honestly feels that he has accomplished this in his career as a financial advisor. Stacy has been working with multi-generational families and family businesses for over 28 years. He has a lot of experience developing plans to transfer wealth between generations.

Stacy has been helping families at every stage of their life from buying a house and starting a family to retiring and enjoying their hard-earned savings. He enjoys watching the kids grow up into young adults and being there when they are ready for that much needed financial advice.

His credentials start with a university degree in finance and economics. He then spent seven years in retail management as well as three years as a business manager. Afterwards, he decided to make better use of his degree and entered the financial services industry in 1995. He has his certification as a financial planner. He continues to take courses to keep on top of ongoing changes in the industry. He is the vice chair of the Insurance Council of Saskatchewan. He has also done some public speaking for various organizations.

On the personal side, he has been married for 28 years, and has three grown children. In his spare time, he enjoys camping, golfing, and just spending time with family.

Amanda Downing is a life licensed Associate Advisor with CastleGate Financial Solutions Inc. We were thrilled to add her to our wonderful team in March of 2022. 

Amanda focuses on working with families and family-owned business. She helps them create a plan to meet their needs for today as well as the future. She is passionate about helping Clients protect their loved ones and assisting small businesses with employee retention and education.

Prior to joining the CastleGate team, Amanda was a buyer/brand manager for a large salon distribution company. During her 10-year career with ESP Salon Sales she was able to build lasting relationships and negotiate large transactions with manufactures from all over the world. 

Outside of work Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and young son. The three of them love to travel and send a lot of time outdoors golfing, boating, quadding and snowmobiling. As a couple, they like to get involved in their community. You can catch her on the volleyball court every Thursday night showing off her skills with the team. 

Cherie is our Wealth Service Associate and is Mutual Fund Licenced. She works with Stacy to ensure that Clients receive the best service when it comes to their investment portfolio. Cherie has a passion for all things number related. Coming from a financial background in South Africa, she understands the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, time management and attention to detail. You can be sure that she will handle your queries and needs promptly, efficiently and with a smile. She is more than happy to assist you and enjoys interacting with Clients on a daily basis. 

Outside of work, Cherie enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two sons. Whenever she gets the chance, she enjoys arts and crafts, building puzzles and exploring our beautiful province.

Andrea is a licenced life insurance administrative assistant. Originally from Saskatoon, Andrea has been working for Stacy Hnatiuk at CastleGate Financial Solutions since June 2016. Andrea assists Stacy with the insurance-based aspects of his business. She is a friendly and helpful contact for Clients and will happily assist in any way she can. 

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons and stepson, as well as her friends.

Lisa is our friendly front receptionist and office administrative assistant. Lisa is originally from Newfoundland and has been in Saskatchewan since 2008. She worked in an office setting in the construction industry before coming to join Stacy’s team in 2022.

Outside of work you can find Lisa and her husband riding their motorcycles. They enjoy seeing the sites here and further south in the states which they try to visit yearly. When not riding her bike, you can find her in her garden and spending time with her two children, and four grandchildren. She also enjoys fishing, hunting, camping and walking around enjoying exploring new areas.
