He also helps Clients find a clear path to their financial dreams. Brian’s family has provided trusted investment and insurance advice to Clients, their families and businesses for almost 60 years. Carrying on this legacy and contracting with Sun Life, Brian became an advisor in 1995.

Brian is a published author and sought-after speaker within the industry. He is frequently interviewed by media across the country on a wide variety of topics related to financial planning.

Brian was recently inducted into Sun Life’s Hall of Fame. This recognizes Brian as a Sun Life advisor who embodies the distinct qualities that Sun Life holds in the highest esteem – leadership, achievement, and service excellence.

Brian’s other passion is his family, with whom he travels extensively around the globe. As an amateur photographer and a skilled scuba diver, he chronicles his family adventures through photojournaling.

Lisa joined the Financial Innovators Group team early in 2020 as a financial planner and an owner after a long and successful career in the industry.

Lisa brings more than 25 years of professional experience. She leverages this experience to offer Clients the best strategies to protect their families and their businesses. Lisa works predominantly with high-net-worth families and business owners. She provides customized investment, insurance, tax and estate planning strategies to match their financial goals for their futures.

As part of the Financial Innovators Group’s value proposition and the Client’ journey, they analyze the net after tax impact of various investment decisions, with the objective of achieving tax-efficiency. This helps the preservation of financial capital that can ensure the maximum transfer of wealth to the next generation.

Lisa always puts her family first. She dedicates most of her leisure time to ensure her kids are living their best lives, watching them excel in their own endeavours and just having fun!

Lisa Burlacoff joined The Financial Innovators Group in 2018. Lisa graduated from Ryerson Polytechnic Institute with a diploma in nursing. She went on to the University of Western Ontario to achieve a Bachelor of Science in nursing. Her career in nursing brings in-depth expertise to Clients considering Critical Illness and long-Term care insurance products.

Lisa is also a sought-out speaker, giving presentations with her husband Brian on their personal journeys with critical illness. They explain how having the right financial protection in place allowed them the time and space to heal and fully recover.

Lisa and Brian live in Etobicoke. With their two sons off in university, they are now (almost) empty nesters. Like Brian, Lisa too is an adventurer. Together they love to travel the globe, often hitting the golf links along the way.

Deanna works to ensure that your investment requests are processed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner. Clients say she is a delight to work with. Deanna’s passion is travel and she always has a trip plan in the works.

Jennifer has quickly become an integral part of our team. She ensures all transactions are processed and that any questions you might have are answered quickly and accurately! Jen is also a lover of travel getting away to explore the world as often as she can.

Having joined the team in 2021, Brenda works with Lisa Houston to quarterback insurance applications through the underwriting process. She always keeps Clients updated as to the next steps. On weekends you can find Brenda and her husband touring around Southwestern Ontario on their motorbikes.

Always with a smile, Sabina is likely the first voice you will hear on the phone or meet when you’re in the office. She manages our programs and calendars and will go above and beyond to make things happen.
