My passion is helping individuals and families make confident financial decisions through personalized guidance, education, and long-term planning. Before joining the financial services industry over a decade ago, I worked with one of Canada’s largest automotive dealership groups, where I had the opportunity to help newcomers establish and build their credit in Canada.

Having personally experienced the challenges and opportunities that come with building a life in a new country, I developed a genuine passion for helping immigrants navigate important financial decisions and create a strong foundation for their future. Today, I am proud to work alongside an experienced team of financial professionals, helping individuals, families, and business owners build comprehensive financial strategies that align with their goals and values. Together, we provide guidance in wealth accumulation, retirement planning, insurance protection, estate planning, and tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature, cycling through scenic trails, practicing yoga, and maintaining a healthy, balanced lifestyle. These activities help me stay grounded and reinforce the importance of balance, wellness, and long-term planning in all areas of life.

Laura brings over 16 years of administrative and Client service experience across a variety of professional settings.

Prior to joining the financial services industry, she spent 12 years as an analyst assisting individuals through the criminal record suspension (pardon) process, helping Clients navigate complex administrative requirements with care, professionalism, and attention to detail. She also gained valuable experience working in an immigration law office, supporting Clients and administrative processes in a fast-paced legal environment.

For the past four years, Laura has served as an administrative assistant at Sun Life, providing comprehensive administrative and Client service support. Her responsibilities include processing address and payment changes, beneficiary updates, life and critical illness insurance applications and claims, policy loans, appointment coordination, Client record management, and responding to inquiries. She works closely with advisors and Clients to ensure efficient service and a positive experience.

Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and conversational in French, Laura enjoys connecting with Clients from diverse backgrounds.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys dancing, singing, and hiking.
