As the founder of True North Financial Services, I am passionate about helping Clients protect their loved ones and achieve lifelong financial success. With over 14 years of experience in the financial industry, I’ve built a firm that focuses on insurance strategies, living benefits, and retirement planning. My goal is to provide personalized solutions and guidance to help ensure Clients can navigate their financial journeys with confidence.

Before starting my career in financial services, I served in the Canadian Armed Forces for nine years. During that time, I had the privilege of teaching and serving in a variety of roles, including a six-month tour in the Middle East with the United Nations. Those years taught me the importance of discipline, adaptability, and the value of service—principles I carry into my work every day.

Outside the office, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and our children. We love traveling, especially to England to visit family. As a sports fanatic, I play in the Saskatoon Senior Men’s Basketball League and always look forward to getting out on the golf course.

Graham Renny is an Associate Advisor that focuses on wealth accounts at True North Financial Services. Since joining the team in 2017, Graham has been committed to providing financial advice that helps Clients achieve their goals through competitive fees, tax efficiencies, effective management, and total returns. His dedication to exceptional service and consistent effort helps ensure that Clients receive personalized solutions tailored to their unique needs.

Before entering the financial services industry, Graham spent several years as a paramedic in rural Saskatchewan. This experience taught him the importance of clear communication, time management, and adaptability under pressure—skills he brings to his role every day.

An avid auto enthusiast, Graham’s passion for anything with a motor keeps him sharp and engaged outside of work. He is happily married to his wife, Breana, and is a proud father to their son, Nash. Together, they love exploring Canada and spending time outdoors as a family.

Marina Head serves as the Administrative Assistant at True North Financial Services, ensuring the administrative operations of both Clients and office staff run smoothly and efficiently. Her dedication to maintaining a high standard of service and support is at the core of her role, reflecting her passion for creating a positive and organized environment.

With over a decade of experience as a Retail Sales Manager, Marina had a smooth transition to True North in December 2015. She thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where each day brings new challenges and opportunities. Whether working directly with Clients or behind the scenes, Marina takes immense pride in her role and her ability to manage her responsibilities with precision and care.

Outside of the office, Marina is a devoted wife to her husband, Travis, and a proud mother of three. She enjoys an active lifestyle, spending her free time outdoors camping, traveling, and horseback riding. Marina’s energy, commitment, and passion for excellence make her an invaluable member of the True North team.

As an Associate Advisor at True North Financial Services, Tanya Hoover plays a crucial role in supporting both Clients and staff, ensuring their needs are met with care and efficiency. With many years of office experience, Tanya has honed her skills and takes pride in her ability to help others, always striving to make personal connections and remember as many names as possible.

Outside of work, Tanya enjoys a well-rounded and active life. She and her husband, Graeme, love spending time with family and friends and look forward to camping adventures every summer. Tanya is also passionate about volunteering, baking, watching movies, and planning events. Her friendly nature, dedication, and attention to detail make her a valued member of the True North team.

Mack is an essential member of the True North Financial Services team, bringing valuable insights and a fresh perspective to his role on the team. He is an avid hockey and golf enthusiast, enjoys playing guitar, and finds fulfillment in tutoring and helping others succeed. Chantz Petruic has been a valued member of the True North Financial Services team since February 2024, bringing fresh perspectives and a Client-centered approach to his role as an Advisor Assistant. Beyond his professional role, Chantz is a passionate sports enthusiast who enjoys playing a variety of sports. As a member of the U of S Huskies hockey team, he was honored with a nomination for Male Athlete of the Year, reflecting his dedication, leadership, and drive to excel.

In his personal life, Chantz enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and friends, immersing himself in Saskatoon’s vibrant restaurant scene, and attending live music events. Florence is an Advisor Assistant at True North Financial Services, bringing her dynamic background and a passion for community involvement to the team. Originally from El Salvador, Florence moved to Canada in 2001 and has lived in several vibrant communities across the country, including Naicam, Buffalo Narrows, Turnor Lake, and Red Deer. Her experiences in these diverse settings have allowed her to build meaningful connections and develop a wide array of skills.

Since joining the True North team, Florence has brought a fresh perspective to the insurance team. She is deeply committed to exceeding Client expectations, fostering strong relationships, and providing exceptional service. Florence’s collaborative spirit and dedication make her an integral part of the team.

Outside of her professional life, Florence is actively involved in her community. She serves as a Girl Guide Guider in Saskatoon, volunteers with her local community association, and proudly supports her children as a devoted hockey mom. Florence also values family time and approaches life with an adventurous spirit, always seeking new experiences to enrich her personal and professional journey.

Victoria is an Advisor Assistant at True North Financial Services, bringing extensive experience in office administration and customer service. Before joining True North in December 2024, she worked as a Condominium Manager in Edmonton, Alberta, where she developed strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills that serve her well in her current role.

Originally from Alberta, Victoria recently embraced the charm of small-city living by relocating with her family to North Battleford. In her role as Advisor Assistant, Victoria supports the team with administrative and operational tasks, ensuring efficiency and exceptional service for Clients. Her background equips her with the skills to navigate complex processes with precision and professionalism.

Outside of work, Victoria values spending quality time with her wife, Ashley, and their nieces. She is also a proud pet parent to their three cats, Penny, Kovu, and Toulouse, and their dog, Stella.
