Philip is a seasoned Advisor who initially ventured into the insurance industry in 2001. He became a part of Sun Life in 2003, assuming the role of an Advisor. Over the years, he also spent seven years in a managerial position within sales. Throughout his career, his focus has been on providing personalized solutions to assist Clients. He helps them safeguard their wealth, optimize their post-tax income, achieve their retirement goals, and pass on their wealth to future generations in a tax-efficient manner.

In 2015, Philip established Handbond Financial Solutions Inc. Drawing from extensive experience and profound understanding of the industry, Philip provides services to business owners, professionals, and investors. Regardless of their background - from families rooted in Canada for generations to newcomers who've only been in the country for a few months, Philip can help.

Philip earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University in 2000. He also achieved the Financial Management Advisor (F.M.A.) designation in 2006.

Philip has actively engaged with the business community in the greater Toronto area since 2005. He currently holds the following roles:

• President of the Hebei Chamber of Commerce of Canada,
• Executive Vice Chairman of the Federation of Canadian Chinese Chamber of Commerce and
• Director of BPS Strategies Inc.

Penny joined the team in 2020 as a Service Associate after completing her studies at the University of Alberta. Her role primarily focused on Client services, where she consistently delivered exceptional value-added assistance to Clients. With an in-depth understanding of the diverse range of Sun Life investment and insurance products, Penny effectively helps Clients towards achieving financial freedom.

Penny transitioned into the role of Associate Advisor and Business Manager in 2023. She now focuses on tailoring insurance and investment solutions for young professionals and families. Additionally, she collaborates with Philip to provide top-tier services to high-net-worth Clients.

Outside of her professional life, Penny finds solace in spending time amidst nature. Camping serves as her way to unwind, recharge, and return to work with renewed energy.
